Whether on a shady terrace or in the chic and cosy atmosphere of its two spacious dining rooms, Le Duverger cultivates the art of good living and good entertaining.

The Chef has more than one star to his bow, and you can also entrust him with the customised preparation of your catering buffets, receptions and group meals. He will have at heart to enamel with creative and refined flavours the sweet and salty table of your most beautiful events.

Masters of local gastronomy, the Duverger Chefs concoct for you great traditional specialities, with the unmissable fresh frog legs or the highly tasty Duverger-style carp fillet, not forgetting the Bresse PDO chicken whose reputation is well established.
Based on our menu rich in regional specialities and fresh local produce, three gastronomic menus are available from Tuesday to Sunday lunchtime, as well as two daily formulas inspired by the Chef's gourmet moods. Group menus are only available on reservation, from 20 people.
History, cuisine and restaurant
At Le Duverger, we appreciate the conviviality and the transmission of a culinary heritage. Founded in 1865, the Hotel Restaurant de la Gare - Le Duverger - was long renowned for its frogs and regional menus. Sundays in the past were packed; people came from Lyon, Bourg-en-Bresse, and sometimes from much further afield... This heritage and reputation, dear to Chefs Franck and Adrien Sucillon, has endured since 19..., and the curious eye of the guests will appreciate the traces of beautiful celebrities who enjoyed or still enjoy the gastronomic table of Duverger.

After long and beautiful years of work, Franck "gives back his apron and his hat" so fairly deserved. Adrien Sucillon and Frédéric Boucaud are now happy to welcome you, as always, as before, in the pure line of the family heritage and of a creative local cuisine.
Respectively Caterer - Pastry - Chocolatier and Chefs, Franck yesterday, Adrien and Frederic today, all have a taste for detail and pleasurable menus. Their lively cuisine is in keeping with tradition but also with the joy of good things found and above all shared. A goldmine of homemade gourmet pleasures to take away, the Duverger shop also offers you the opportunity to travel with local flavours and sweet things from the past, to taste or to offer for pleasure.
Fresh, local and sustainable products
Finely selected, our products are fresh, cooked with seasonal product, and mostly from local and regional producers. Homemade bread, appetizers, foie gras and terrines, desserts, Bresse poultry and Dombes fish... Quality and home-made products are the hallmarks of the Duverger menu, which is accompanied by a personalized cellar of selected vintages and elegant regional wines.

Romantic tête-à-tête? Meals for four, eight, ten, receptions or group meals? The spacious rooms of the Duverger welcome all your desires in a cosy setting with a warm decor. Our large flowered and shaded terrace honours the beautiful days and the calm of summer evenings with an aperitif or a summer dinner. The time for a last cocktail and the traveller will appreciate the cosy and silent comfort of our six air-conditioned and perfectly equipped rooms.
